The Olympia
Ice Center is a state-of-the-art facility conveniently located off I-91
at 125 Capital Drive, West Springfield, MA. This 120,000 square foot
facility holds three NHL-sized, newly renovated arenas. Each year over
600,000 people from various age groups and vast demographics attend
events at the Olympia Ice Center.
Families,
seniors, high school and college students enjoy our facility each day.
Over 70 hours of ice time on each of the three NHL-sized (85 ft. by
200 ft) arenas are rented out each week. The GSL sponsored by the Springfield
Falcons, comprised of over 115 teams, the Western Mass Blades —
District 6 Selects, Mass. Hockey Satellite Player Development, New England
Junior Falcons, Mass Conn Braves, Holy Name, and Baywest, call the Olympia
Ice Center their home. These are the most respected and highly sought
after hockey programs in the region that draw people from all over the
country in hopes of finding the best competition.
The Olympia
Ice Center houses local college hockey, such as American International
College. The high skill level that this brand of hockey brings to the
arena at each competition is entertainment to all. We're home to nine
high school teams with over 100 high school hockey games each season,
including the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association's playoffs,
which draw an enormous audience from all areas of the community.
